The South Korean midfielder has not played for United in several years now, but he remains out of the Red Devils as the Asian ambassador. He has expressed his views about Van Gaal on the verge of being sacked. The Dutchman has had an enormous amount of money to spend at Old Trafford. However, the activities of the transfer market have not necessarily translated into a better squad. Many feel that the team continues to be on the decline especially as they struggle to score goals.

José Mourinho has already been lined up as a replacement according to several reports. The Portuguese boss has also reportedly signed a precontract agreement with the club. One of the most experienced managers in world football, Mourinho has won trophies wherever he has been. After having just failed to bring Pep Guardiola, it appears that the club has decided to go with a trusted name in English football. The 18-year-old came through the ranks at the club but few would have imagined his astronomical rise to stardom in the matter of a few weeks. The young striker made his debut for the Red Devils only towards the end of February. However, he grabbed headlines almost immediately after scoring twice in the 5-1 victory over FC Midtjylland. This was immediately followed by two goals and an assist in the 3-2 win against Arsenal.

These games quickly catapulted him to stardom and he has never been on the wane since then. Even though there were suggestions that he should be dropped after going without a goal for five matches, manager Louis Van Gaal kept his faith in the player and started him for the crucial Manchester derby last weekend. Rashford returned to scoring ways after a 16 minute goal against their arch rivals. The boy from Manchester was scoring against one of United’s biggest rivals and this has seen him adored by the supporters. Lyon suffered an embarrassing 4-2 defeat

Lyon suffered an embarrassing 4-2 defeat in front of their home supporters against Montpelier with defender Rafael Da Silva contributing to one of those goals conceded with a horrible back pass.

The former Manchester United defender has been criticised for making individual errors too often in the game. It was one of the reasons behind his departure from Old Trafford, but it appears that he may not have learnt his ways since that move. This was the third consecutive defeat for Lyon and it puts manager Hubert Fournier under a lot of pressure. The manager said after the game that this was the worst defeat in his career.

Such was the manner of Lyon’s defending that speculation has arose claiming that Hubert Fournier’s position at the club is under threat.Fournier has been the manager of the French club since October 2014. Stefano Pioli has extended his contract with the Italian Serie A outfit

After a brilliant campaign with Lazio, manager Stefano Pioli has extended his contract with the Italian Serie A outfit. The team almost managed to finish above their arch rivals Roma in the league table.

This was an extremely commendable achievement, but the real bonus comes in the form of a qualification to the Champions League. The 49-year-old replaced Vladimir Petkovic as well as a manager last summer. He had arrived from a brilliant campaign with Bologna, but Lazio were not expected to reach the third place by any means. Aside from this league position, Lazio also reached the Coppa Italia final where they were beaten by Juventus.

The club have confirmed that the contract of the coach has been extended until 2018. Previously, his deal was set to expire in two years. This is seen as a huge reward for his work. Lazio could have also qualified for the Champions League next season automatically if they had taken more than two wins that they managed in the last five matches. After having extended the contract of their manager, the club will now shift to the focus towards retaining the top players like Felipe Anderson. The 22-year-old has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea. Continue reading Stefano Pioli has extended his contract with the Italian Serie A outfit

Alexandre Pato is playing for Sao Paulo on a loan deal

Alexandre Pato is playing for Sao Paulo on a loan deal which extends until 2015 but the Brazilian club is rumored to be attempting to keep the 25 year old player on a permanent deal.  Corinthians is the club where Pato will be returning to at the end of the season but things could change if Sao Paulo is truly interested in keeping him.

The Brazilian attacker has scored 6 goals in 9 appearances for Sao Paulo for this season as he started this year in superb fashion after managing to score twice when his club played against Audax. Pato also managed to secure a hat-trick when Sao Paulo faced off with Capivariano.

So far, it has been a very impressive start of the year for AlexandrePato and this is one of the main reasons on why Sao Paulo is expected to sign the player with an extended contract.

Pato recently has even been attracting the attention from England as Everton and Hull City are reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian forward on a loan deal.

The Premier League side Everton is in search of a player that can replace Samuel Eto’o and AlexandrePato popped up in the watch-list of Roberto Martinez. The main issue that emerged in attempting to sign the Brazilian forward was his high wages as he earns around £60,000 each week and this salary might just be too steep for Hull City or Everton.

The first and only major European club that AlexandrePato joined was Ac.Milan back in 2007 when the Italian club signed Pato when he was just 17 years old and the club even had to wait for almost a year before they could utilize him in official Serie A matches.
