France Set for UAE Tour
The two teams Paris and France could play matches in United Arab Emirates, according to the information, both the team will play test matches in United Arab Emirates in the coming two seasons. The news has been confirmed by the president of French federation Bernard Laporte. Memorandum of understanding with regards to this decision has signed by both the nations.
Speaking to media after signing the memorandum of understanding with rugby federation of the UAE, Laporte said by holding a match of France in different countries will not only help France team improve their game, but also give exposure to the rugby in countries like UAE and nearby regions”.
Dusautoir Saying Goodbye To Rugby
Thierry Dusautoir the iconic player of French Rugby will close his career at Kingspan Stadium while playing against Ulster.
Dusautoir is a legendary player and was among three Toulouse players who were selected by Vern Cotter the head coach of Barbarians for the fixture June.
Dusautoir is 35-year-old, and he will be joined by Maxime Medard France full back and Patricio Albacete Argentina lock. Jeremy Thrush of New Zealand will also join him in the squad. For the Barbarians, all four will be making their first appearances.
Rugby League: France Warm Up Against Jamaica
The 2017 Rugby League World Cup has time to start, and thus the France team has decided to play some warm up match. As a part of this French Rugby League Federation (FRLF) France has made the announcement of holding a historic test match with Jamaica.
According to the announcement made, the match will be played on 13 October at Stade Gilbert Brutus, Perpignan. This will be a warm-up match for the team. In the Rugby League World Cup (RLWC) 2017 the team of France is going to get face to face with team Australia, Lebanon and England in the group stages.
